Mask drain/Mastery Speed

Most Vizards in the game will agree that the mask's boosts are great. However, the amount it drains and how long you have to train it in order to be able to use it efficiently are pretty crazy. I suggest that the mask be based off of a simple timer. If it's done this way, players can enjoy using it on top of their releases.

Not Necessarily:

The mask timer would be very simple. For every point of mastery that you have, you have 1 second of mask time. While I write this, I have 13.291/500 Mastery. This translates into 13.291 seconds. I suggest that when the timer runs out, you lose a percentage of your CURRENT Reiryoku (Maybe 30%) and the mask cool-down is raised to something like 20-30 seconds or more because its about 2-4 seconds at the moment.

This would also balance out the time it takes to master the mask as there would be no Reiryoku drain. People could train it while leveling their character without losing all of their Reiryoku in 3 seconds.

but if you have it maxed thats 1000 seconds of mask time on top of a mastered bankai, thats way too op.. i agree with the whole timer thing, no rey drain... but at 1000 seconds vais would be pretty powerfull... maybe not 2 sec per point?

at max rank thats 8.3 minutes, still alot... maybe slow the scailing as the mastery goes up? for example you get 1 sec per point untill 70/500 and after you get half a second per point... so that its not stupidly op lategame a minute of masktime can give you alot of mobs when it comes to pve, and in pvp you wont be too strong... this way by maxing mask it would give you like 5.08 mins of mask time.

its still alot in pvp, but manageable.

Then lower the max mastery to 100 and each mastery is 1.5 seconds?

Regardless, "Mastered" is "Mastered."

I think the amount of time that the mask should last should be a little bit above the average time it takes to complete a fight.

500 Mastery with ridiculous drain and such low mastery speed is crazy to me. The masks are great but almost useless. 100 points of Mastery, with 1-1.5 seconds on a mask timer per mastery point should work alright.

In response to the issue of 500, keep it in a ratio. Everyone 100 points of mastery on the "500 Point System" would be 20 points on a "100 Point System."
